Malaysia’s Largest Food & Beverage Trade Fair Is Back Next Year With Innovative, Inventive & Exciting Power-Packed F&B Services & Solution Providers.

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – 4th August 2020 – Sphere Exhibits Malaysia, organiser of the annual Malaysian International Food and Beverage (MIFB) Trade Fair has announced that the 21st Malaysian International Food & Beverage (MIFB) Trade Fair will be held from the 28th – 30th July 2021 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). Celebrating an important milestone, the prime Food & Beverage trade fair in Malaysia has achieved two decades of innovation and constant growth throughout the years with ground-breaking solutions to boost the industry alongside global partners.

Ramping it up this upcoming year, MIFB is forecasted to accommodate more than 20,000 Trade Visitors & Buyers from 70 countries who will be visiting more than 450 Local & International Exhibitors from 22 Participating Countries on a net 12,572 Sq. m at Hall 1-6 in KL Convention Centre. This annual trade fair offers industry players a platform to experience the future with unique and insights into processes and technologies, industrial trends, market demand, cost reduction, food safety, traceability, and sustainability.

MIFB 2021 will play a vital role in the ASEAN region as the centre point of attraction for all major Food & Beverage Trade market to occur in upcoming years. This is further confirmed by the status given in 2019 as Malaysia’s Largest Food & Beverage Trade Fair crowned by Malaysia’s Book of Record. This upcoming, MIFB 2021 is strengthening the exhibition floor with power-packed F&B services and solution providers.

The increasing population demands quality instead of quantity in the food and beverage sector. With the rapid growth in five (5) segments: Food and Beverages, International halal village, seafood and fishery, Start-Up Village, and E-Exhibition. The halal certification boosts consumer confidence as it is accepted internationally, with that, enhancement in the equipment used is needed to develop the halal F&B industry. According to a recent statistic, in 2018, the market revenue of global halal food amounted to approximately 715 trillion U.S. dollars and is forecasted to increase to 2.04 trillion dollars by 2027. With the huge success in 2019, MIFB 2021 is proud re- Introducing its Start-Up Programme in 2021, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative program by Sphere Exhibits Malaysia. Following its previous steps, the Start-Up Village 2021 is jointly organised by Kuala Lumpur Malay Chamber of Commerce (KLMCC), Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Kuala Lumpur & Selangor (KLSCCCI) and Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KLSICCI). This initiative serves as the onsite business matching platform between the start-ups and investors who are keen to invest in the latest innovative F&B service solutions. The ultimate objective of this Start-Up Pavilion program is to promote local new ideas to step into the international market in line with its goal to have Malaysia as a stepping stone to enter the ASEAN market in F&B Industry

MIFB 2021 will open its door to brand new venture while rebranding its International F&B Machinery, Packaging & Service Solution Exhibitors (FoodTech 2019) to brand new skin, MYFOODTECH 2021. This brand new branch will be focusing on serving more than 5000 professionals who directly or indirectly involve in Selection, Preservation, Processing, Packaging, Distribution, and the use of safe food. With top industry players from Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, India, Singapore, and more, MIFB 2021 is certainly on a positive angle to achieve its prime objective in securing a high turnout rate from the final buying power group of delegates.

Alongside this, MIFB 2021 will also cater to its trade visitors and buyers to variety selection from Seafood & Fishery segment. With the ever-increasing demand for seafood in Asia.
