Through MATRADE’s MDG
MIFB 2026 is endorsed by MATRADE, allowing eligible Malaysian companies to apply for the Market Development Grant (MDG).
The MDG is a reimbursable grant of up to RM5,000 designed to support Malaysian companies in promoting their products and services in international markets through trade exhibitions and export-focused activities.
Eligible companies exhibiting at MIFB may apply for MDG funding to help offset participation costs. Eligible expenses may include:
- Booth rental or participation fees
- Booth construction and enhancement
- Airfare
- Accommodation expenses
The grant is available to Malaysian SMEs, Professional Service Providers, Trade and Industry Associations, Chambers of Commerce, Professional Bodies, and Co-operatives that are looking to expand their international market reach.
