The Malaysia Halal Certification System, administered by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), is a globally recognised and highly stringent Halal assurance framework. It ensures that products, processes, and services fully comply with Islamic law (Shariah) and Malaysian Halal Standards.
For international applicants, Malaysia Halal certification serves as a benchmark of integrity, enabling access to global Halal markets while ensuring compliance across the entire supply chain.

Halal Traceability
This programme on Halal Traceability is designed in line with Malaysia Halal Certification requirements, as stated in the manual procedure and Halal management system guidelines. It focuses on strengthening participants’ capability in implementing end-to-end Halal traceability, proper documentation, and supply chain control to ensure continuous Halal compliance.
It also covers the product recall process, including identification, isolation, withdrawal, and reporting of non-compliant products, supported by root cause analysis, corrective actions, and mock recall exercises to ensure system effectiveness and readiness.
